FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Yarrow is a typical, cute puppy who is all about exploring and playing.  He and his siblings play hard and then take long naps. His Mother is a terrier mix and weighs around 50 lbs,  She can be seen in the photo above. We do not know how large Yarrow will be as an adult but possibly like her Mom. Yarrow has a gorgeous brindle coat.  Right now he is just a tiny bundle of cuteness who wants to be cuddled and loved.  Could you consider giving him a forever home??
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  Yarrow and his 8 siblings were born on 6/6/18 while his Mom, Eloise,  was in the care of BFPA.  A wonderful lady saw that Eloise was in a shelter and was soon  to be euthanized unless a rescue group could save her.  She approached BFPA to see if we could take in the poor girl.  We were happy to help and not only saved Eloise (soon to be up for adoption) but also her 9 puppies!  The happy, healthy puppies are looking for their forever homes and hope you can continue to give them the best life has to offer them.  They are lucky pups!

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue.  Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.

PLEASE NOTE: Yarrow will be getting his first set of  vaccines around 8/10.  If a trial adoption begins before the second set of vaccines, the potential adopters will have to keep him in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs.   Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, dog parks, apartment grounds and any public areas where other dogs may frequent should be avoided during this period.
